BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE
 

Deeksha Bhardwaj- An NCR based artist completed her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) specialized in Paintings from Amity School Of Fine Arts, Amity University.
She has practiced various mediums like oils and acrylics on canvas and paper. Deeksha has developed her own individualistic style of art after much studies and experimentation. Being imaginative and creative in nature, she uses simplified and stylized forms, her approach is unique and individualistic. She involves herself in exploring with new elements and possibilities of painting medium. She is working on the juxtapositioning of the human forms. Uses a bright colour palette and has a distinct style of not only implementation but visualization as well.

She is imaginative and creative in nature. She uses simplified and stylized forms, has an influence of cubistic painting style with geometric arrangement of objects, but her approach is unique and individualistic in nature. She actively involves herself in experimenting with new elements and possibilities of painting medium.

 


  

    Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from School of Performing Arts and Creative Education (SPACE) (under IASE University, Rajasthan), from New Delhi. Master’s of Fine Arts, from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Master’s of Fine Arts, from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
 
    Achievement:
 
     Made the LONGEST PAINTING INDIVIDUALLY, has been registered in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS’2010 in the Paintings Chapter. This is 1189      meters long, depicting enormous forms of Lord Ganesha.
 

    Experience:

  • Worked as a Gallery Manager in Gallery Impart, located in East Delhi, now working as a freelance artist as before.
  • Curated/organized several shows in reputed art galleries like Lalit Kala Academy, Triveni Art Gallery, AIFACS, Arpana art gallery, Lokayata art gallery-New Delhi, Art Entrance Art gallery-Mumbai.
